Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long until I receive my images?
This will depend on the type of Photoshoot and the number of shots you want. I will quote time at the time of photoshoot, but for a standard digital only shoot, averaging around 10 shots, I usually quote 7 days. Images are sent via Google Drive and you have 30 days to download and save them.
2. Which printers do you recommend?
Personally, from the different service providers around Launceston, my go to is Camera House in Brisbane Street. I tested Camera House, Officeworks and Kmart, as they are the standard here in Launceston with a black and white. I found quality wise, Camera House topped the pack. But really it's up to you.
3. Do you provide Prints?
I can arrange prints for you at your expense. I do use Camera House for photography, and Vista Print for my Graphic Design services because of their proven track record with myself and other clients. I am happy to use any service you choose.
4. Do you provide back ups?
Yes. If you want your images on USB, there is an extra cost of $10 AUD plus post. If you are in or willing to travel to Launceston, Tasmania, I am also happy to meet you in town to save on postage. :)
5. Do you charge a cancellation fee?
No. But I do ask that you let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel and I am always happy to re-book. I will cancel and re-book outdoor shoots depending on weather, but will let you know prior.
6. Do you charge a deposit?
I do with studio shoots. There is a non refundable deposit of $200 AUD. This covers the cost of studio rental as I do not have my own space yet. With outside shoots, where I don't really have any layout expenses, except time, I do not charge a deposit. All I ask is you give me as much warning as possible if you need to cancel. I do send a confirmation message 24 hours prior to the shoot to confirm.
6. What's your hourly rate?
It depends on the job risk. My rate starts at $35 per hour. I also offer concession discounts for health care card holders.
